Australia's living-room game blog

Where quiet green corners meet loud boss fights.

We write from a plant-filled, timber-beamed studio in Surry Hills — long-form RPG breakdowns, honest indie reviews, and hardware guides built for players who read.

Inside our Thursday co-op nights

Biophilic open-plan studio with living wall

About the citadel

A blog that plays slow and writes carefully.

Dragon Shadow Citadel started in 2018 as a two-person newsletter and grew into a full editorial team of eight. We work out of a converted warehouse on Fitzroy Street — living walls, exposed timber, and a couch that has hosted more late-game boss debates than we can count.

No review scores farmed for clicks, no press-trip fluff. Every piece is played to credits, fact-checked, and edited by a human who actually finished the game.
